Precision Lifting for over 35 Years

Gator Crane Service of Tampa Bay (formerly Gator Crane of Pinellas) was established in 1986 and officially incorporated in 1991, long before most of the other area crane companies.

The original mission was to serve Tampa Bay area contractors and residents with skilled crane operations that included rooftop air conditioning installation and removal, roof truss placement, and more.

Over the years, our work has expanded to include:

Gator Crane Service of Tampa Bay has been featured on a popular home building show on HGTV and has had the opportunity to provide services for special events.

We were hired as the sole crane company for 2 years in a row to insert and remove the high-powered (and expensive!) racing boats in and out of the waters for the St Pete Powerboat Grand Prix.

In October of 2021, Gator Crane began a new phase of operations and rebranding to more modernized aesthetics and technology under its new ownership. We are FCC licensed to operate GMRS radios on our job sites and accept electronic/digital credit card payments.
Gator Crane Service of Tampa Bay is veteran owned and operated, certified by the State of Florida as a minority and veteran owned business, and we are now one of the few if not only small crane services in the area that are BBB accredited.
